Copycat...

Good day all! We went out to dinner last evening, but changed our pattern. There is a local restaurant convenient to us that still allows smoking (ugh) although they do offer a main room where (supposedly) the smoke does not enter...it does. Someone had gone off the road (noone was hurt) but it blocked traffic so we changed our pattern. There is something to be said about repetition. We went somewhere different and had a great evening. I have been feeding the birds (Tuppence a Bag) for years. It is important to be diligent as they (the birds) become accustomed to a specific feeding location. Well, so much dropped seed has bloomed under the one feeder that the landscapers figured it to be a garden and stopped cutting it! I changed locations of the bird houses which hasn't stopped the birds from coming but has helped the scene below. In some instances repetition and copying can be a good thing. Like 'an apple a day', working out or trying to get to sleep at around the same time every day. On this day in 1876 Thomas Edison received a patent for his mimeograph. Few are used nowdays but it was the beginning of the efficient copying possibilities that make life so much easier today. Not as easy as writing a blog, uploading it and then making it possible for everyone who has access to a computer and the ability to read to see it...but still...I am hoping that when I get into my shop today the roll shade repair will have stuck. And I do mean stuck. The shades are of a very nice quality with a substantial woven fabric and I would hate to start beating someone over the head with one, repeatedly. Have a great day!
