...one brick at a time...

Hello. Sunday turned out to be weather perfect here in Chester County, PA. We took an early walk to Valley Forge Park and had the place almost entirely to ourselves. I had to cancel a brunch due to a scheduling conflict and spent the greater part of the day hanging framed art and mirrors, one piece at a time. It is amazing how properly chosen and installed accessories can transform a space. Much measuring and calculations are required but the process went well and the client was happy. On this day in 1850 work started on the 1st brick building in San Francisco. One brick at a time...kind of like yesterday's job but my task was a lot more varied. Today I will be high in the sky installing Graber Skylight Shades and my timing is good...the sun is making an appearance almost daily. Speaking of building, 'Carpenters' just celebrated their 40th anniversary in the music business. A new compilation, just released in Japan is their highest debuting album ever. They built a career one hit at a time and still generate a lot of capitol for the record label and for Richard. Karen would have loved that. I hate to admit feeling physically tired today but after climbing up and down on ladders yesterday my legs can feel it. They will be happy to know that today will be more of the same, one step at a time. Sort of like life. Sometimes it is best to not look at the extension ladder in total, but to view it step by step. Especially when looking down. Have a great day, try to take small steps and enjoy the view whether you have clarity on 'Top Of The World' or feel like there is 'Something In Your Eyes'. Today's photo is of the 'Versailles Teal Mirror'. And yes, I hung on of those.
