...get together...

Hi. We closed the pool yesterday which is a task that I dislike greatly. After several days of rain the sun was out and the skies were blue. Nevertheless it had to be done yesterday. I got a workout in by placing sandbags around the perimeter of the pool after placing the cover completely over it. The pool tends to be a meeting place where many walks of life gather to converse, enjoy summer, eat, drink and be merry. We love to get together as often as possible. Today is the Javitz Center for a gift show for some, but I am taking a client to the Marketplace in Philadelphia. Bring some brochures back! If you have never been to the Javitz Center, do so. Again, it is a place where all different kinds of people gather for many different reasons. The United Nations had the right idea regarding 'getting together' as, on this day in 1948 groundbreaking for the headquarters began in New York City. The United Nations (UN) is an international organization whose stated aims are facilitating cooperation in international law, security, economic development, social progress, human rights, and trying to achieve world peace. I wonder how that is going? Last evening was a Birthday Party for EJ who turned 9. We delivered and set up a basketball pole and backboard and he seemed delighted. I remembered to look before backing out of the driveway on our way home. "Get Together" everyone! Hit this link for a groovy rendition of the Youngblood's classic. Communicate and don't rush.
