...knowing all the answers

Hello. We celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday as B and G leave for Florida today. The ping pong table was set for many, many people and it was a beautiful thing to spend time with them. R played the piano, E brought his violin but never opened the case. M brought the costume that she had handmade for her daughter, fashioned after an 1890's pattern. B and G did the majority of meal preparation and it was a wonderful experience. My truck is rather large and heavy and as parking moved to the outer lawn area, I had to put the vehicle in 4WD to get out. I will most probably be adding topsoil and grass seed soon. Who would have guessed? Most of the time we don't have all of the answers; we keep trekking on and work toward our personal best. One man did have all of the answers tho', as on this day in 1959, "Twenty One" game show contestant Charles Van Doren admitted to a Congressional committee that he had been given questions and answers in advance. Sometimes I think it would be nice to be prepared for life in that manner, and sometimes I'd rather not know. S came in on Saturday to pick up her custom toss pillows and seemed delighted with the outcome. Have fun today and do your personal best. We may not have all of the answers, but never shy away from asking questions.
