...three minutes

Hi. A light dusting of snow covers Chester County, PA right now. The Christmas Tree man was driving around in his red truck as we took our walk, collecting the pine trees cast to the curb. It seems sort of odd to see the trees just lying there, after having been one of the major focal points of this past Holiday Season. I guess one is only as good as their last three minutes. (a Karen Carpenter quote regarding single sales and airplay). I sent off a few emails this morning and am quite used to the speed and convenience of the Internet. It seems like only yesterday but it was on this day in 1908 that the first long-distance radio message was sent from the Eiffel Tower. I was having a croissant, running late for an appointment when the surprising message reached my transistor radio. Although grey out, have a bright day, keep your lines of communication open and clear and try to take you day in three minute segments.
