...diamond in the rough

Hello. The sun is out in Chester County, PA shining like a diamond over the semi frozen earth. Some residents were shocked at the sight as it has been a while since this star has been visible. I had just finished updating the 'Tassel' and 'Needlepoint Pillow' section of my website and received a few orders. Years ago, my website was a diamond in the rough; plain, unattractive and yielded no direct sales. But we keep on trying, polishing our acts to continually improve. On this day in 1905 the Cullinan Diamond was found at the Premier Mine near Pretoria in South Africa. The Cullinan diamond is the largest rough gem-quality diamond ever found, at 3,106.75 carats. That would make one heck of an engagement ring. The settee gentlemen are now considering velvet and I will send samples to them today. Velvet is interesting in that, the more 'bruised' it appears, the more interesting it's texture. Sort of like the facets on a diamond. Have fun today all of you diamonds in the rough...and even the most polished too!
