...pride and prejudice

Hi. There is a light dusting of snow on Chester County, PA this morning. We left 14 footprints of varying sizes exponentially across the neighborhood. Did we walk with pride? I don't think so, It was too slippery. We simply enjoyed ourselves. CN stopped over and we hung out and then DL phoned and we will probably deliver furniture this evening. The love seat and chair are more of a Contemporary style, but no prejudice abounds. We like all styles. It just depends on the setting. On this day in 1813, Jane Austen's' "Pride and Prejudice" was first published in the United Kingdom. The story follows the main character Elizabeth Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, moral rightness, education and marriage in her aristocratic society of early 19th century England. Most reading this blog have read this novel which stands the test of time. I sent off the Wedgewood Velvet sample to CT for final approval. He sells sea shells. I mean ME. New needlepoint rugs and pillows. A special thanks to the Chinese readers of my blog for the inspiring comments. A special thanks also to online translators. Have a great day.
