...sing a song

Hi. It is snowing again in Chester County, PA as well as in many parts of the country. Last evening we cranked up the Christmas music and made a train cake. I didn't go as far as to put up the tree again...maybe today. Just sing, sing a song. On this day in 1933, the New York City-based Postal Telegraph Company introduced the first singing telegram. When the performer began, one of the singing telegram recipients supposedly lit his Bic lighter, held it high and began to call out 'Freebird!' Also on this day but even more recently, 1998 to be precise, voters in Maine repealed a gay rights law passed in 1997 becoming the first U.S. state to abandon that law. Marriage is wholesome y'all! Freaks stay out of the sanctity of marriage. Pay your taxes, follow all rules that govern, be responsible, don't pick your nose in public but please...equal rights only to a select group. Not everyone!Maybe it should be called quasi-equal rights.
AA and UD are supposed to go to FLA so pray that the roads clear for their safe travel. Also, please say a prayer for RN and RN who is fighting valiantly with Leukemia for which there is no cure. We know how suddenly it can come on. My Max was a valiant fighter and I still miss him every day.Hang tough everyone and do your best. Life can throw sucker punches but keep on truckin'. And don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear, just sing. Sing a song. Peace.
"Most of the songs I sing have that blues feeling in it. They have that sorry feeling. And I don't know what I'm sorry about. I don't." Etta James
