Hi. It is 25 degrees and icy in Chester County, Pa this morning. Nothing like a frigid walk to wake one up. Piles of snow are high here and there and friends called from Florida last evening. Great to hear how warm it is down there! On this day in 1879, the first artificial ice rink in North America opened at Gilmore's Park in New York City. Not just for boys, it welcomed Gilmore girls too. Tanya Harding was lurking in the back with a stick in her hand, probably just a device to help her to walk. AA and UD are hopefully off to Florida this morning having been held back by Mother Nature. Tonight is 'Godspell' at Villanova University with friend and superstar Emily Walsh. I cannot wait.
