Hello and happy Saturday. It is the first day of August and last night we went to the Epicurean and had a great time. The band was good and we stayed a little bit later than we had planned. It's nice to see people 'fixed up' and to hear a lot of laughter and loud music. Comb your hair everyone! They may be filming you! Also on this day but in 1944, Anne Frank made the last entry in her diary. Diaries, blogs and video tapes. All ways of recording events both interesting and boring. The leather for the cocktail ottoman will arrive shortly and then work can begin on upholstering it. The Roman Shades are finished and guess what? Yesterday morning someone went into labor and a short time later had a beautiful baby girl! Congratulations JD. I may have to remove the football motif from the shades but then again, why should I! That seems a little sexist to me. I have a drapery installation on Monday and hope that it goes fast because we really need to go tubing before this summer ends.
